School Teachers are Life Changers
Maybe you have a class this large and maybe not, but whatever size you have and especially if you have primary school aged kids, your class-room will be excited to be able to help a child or two. Children love to help children in dire need. Street Children have no status, no respect, no parents, no toys, no school desk (they don't go to school), and school education. Your children will be so excited to provide a child or two a home, schooling, more than one set of clothes, toys they have never had, safety, security to wake up tomorrow morning, and so much more. If you have wifi in your school you will be able to connect via skype or other messenger programs. They will connect with each other via email. The non-street child will learn so much about other children 10,000 miles away.
A child 10,000 miles away is just like children in your class. They learn, they play, they enjoy life as a child, and desire to have love from others, but a Street Child has no real friends, no one to trust, no one to depend upon to help them with any problem. NOW is the Time! Yesterday is history and today another 350 new children became street children in Indonesia and 2,900 in India. Right now is the time to begin helping a child. As is said above, as a little as $5.00 helps and if you can send $40.00 what a blessing that you will have and a child will believe that you are their Guardian Angel. That is only $1.35 a day set aside. That usually is not hard to do. There are many things in our life that we spend money on that is not necessary or healthy or both but we just do them because they taste so good. Maybe you smoke and a pack costs $2.30 or more and what a way to have a goal to stop smoking just to help a child. Just is a harsh word, as it convicts as to how we can change but the urge says to stop. Just is also a word that describes a Invisible Street Child. When asked why they are so dirty, or why they are begging for money, or why don't they go home ..... they have no comment for they are at their level of social respect, and it is lower than the respect of a pig. The common "respectable" person there will say, "They are JUST a Street Child. They eat food right along with the pigs at the landfill. Who cares about them anyway?" I hope you do not think that way about a now known Invisible Street Child as they are JUST a child no matter where they live in this world. We should CRY OUT, HELP THAT CHILD.
