Construction Project in Narasaraopet, South India
The walls are up .................. WOW ............ and some of the outside stucco work is completed. The following are projects needing you support so we can begin to seek out Street Children. We are hoping to fit 4 bunk beds in the children's room. Joe asked Kiran (President for The Maranatha Foundation) how long it would take him to find 8 children. His answer was frank and quick, "From 30 minutes to an hour." Do you understand that statement. If you do not quite get it, check out the India Statistics' page. Did you read how many are out there? All you need to do, once the building is ready, is inform us of your support and begin sending it for we will have a child prior to your first check getting to our Corporate Office.
The following projects are primarily in the order of completion. If you want to send support for a future small or large project, you just put that on your check, money order, or PayPal donation your designated project name.
Electrical Trim: The electrical rough is due to be finished by the middle of January and paid for. To finish it we need 15-switches, 20-outlets, 6-wall lights, 8-ceiling lights, 4-ceiling fans, 3-ceiling fans with lights, ..... $1,200

This will complete the construction project except for the kitchen. Later after we have children we will finis the kitchen with your support and until then the host family will prepare meals from their kitchen.

Bedding for 8 twin beds .......................... $30 each need 2 pair for each for one set being washed and dried (with double pillow cases.

Toiletries for up to 8 boys ... bars of soap, shampoo, combs, tooth brushes and tooth paste .... tooth brushes last about one month per child as there is no water pressure to systematically clean them properly.

1 Full bed for parent, sheets, 1 blanket, 2 pillows .................................... $350
Computer desk, file holders, file sleeves, misc office supplies ............ $500
Other items will be added as they are identified and priced. A few of the items Joe can purchase from a special online store at BME-Discount-Store.com at a reduced price. Example .... 1,300 thread count sheets for under $35.00 per set for a twin bed. Joe takes at least 50 lbs of items on each trip to the homes. Part of your purchase will also will be sent to C4KII to help support Invisible Street Children.
