Here is where all usable water comes from. Behind the well is the electric water pump and pressure tank. To the left is the storage tank for easy use of the water. The bucket is used for water to be used for taking baths and washing clothes and probably the dishes when breakfast, lunch and dinner are over. To wash clothes dishes and dishes, you squat on the floor, and using the water as need for washing them. The big problem comes when needing it for cooking and for drinking water. You have to boil it for 20 to 30 minutes and if not, illness will occur and probable death. This is how many children become orphans and younger children die before they are 15 years old. We have a water purifier for drinking and cooking water for the Tobing house and the Cikal house.
