This page is rebuilding and is under construction and will be available by November, 2008. After Breakfast one morning, Cici, Angela's sister asked me to go with her to the market place to purchase food for the two upcoming meals of the day.
The above pictures show those already busy buying their day's food for very few of them have a refrigerator in their home.
Here is the vegetable and fruit store.
Then we have the store with eggs, cheese, crackers, and so much more. Usually there is more than one store of any given item so Cici looked at all of them. If you notice a few shops down is more eggs ..... no refrigeration.
Here is the layout of yesterday's catch. I do not like boney fish so I picked the two large fish in the lower left corner. These two fish cost about 1,000 rupiah (approximately $1.25.)
