Partnering to be involved with your church will take more time to be involved than just working at home. You can continue to work from home as it will become your personal office. So what will be added to what you do. We need to return to prayer once again. We need to have the Lord prepare the way even before you talk to anyone at church. Even though you do not send a note, and email, or a phone call, the Lord has His ways of preparation. What do we expect from a church. With an appointment to meet with your pastor or someone from the mission's board (committee), you will meet with them either of two ways. Some will need to make an announcement type visit with one of the church leaders over coffee, lunch, or in their office. This will be a time when you discuss who C4KII is, what type of charity they are, what their Purpose and Mission is. Then you speak a few words of Cikal Hope for Children and how they were formed and their initial start and their current operation with the 4 children. You take time to explain that they take in orphans and street children and explain the different definitions of a street child and why they need a home and a parent at CHfC. This meeting will take up to 1.5 hours or maybe even more so be prepared for the questions they will ask. We will help you with all the understanding of all that is talked about in the previous paragraph. In time we will have different training modules that will help with this as they will be printed in color so you can use them during your presentation. If you have a lap top computer, we will have DVD or CDs that you can use to show and tell them what C4KII and CHfC is about as you click through the presentation disk. Depending on your level of working with us, you can utilize the presentation projector to show them the presentation that we will provide, or even use it to present it to a congregation or a group of people. These presentations is to bring about awareness of the need to reach out to these children and raise financial support to facilitate the expansion of Cikal Hope for Children. So are you at this level of wanting to help children in the Medan Indonesia area? I know, you have not been there and maybe it is hard for you to connect with them. Maybe you should pray, talk to your spouse and take a vacation to Stabat Indonesia. You will quickly see the need of reaching out to children and snatching them back from the clutches of an evil person. After walking among them for a few evenings, your heart will change and you will understand what that need is.
