Compassion 4 Kids International, Inc.  is in its infancy compared to many of the charities that you can pick from. Our Mission is to reach out to children that do not have homes and orphans. Street children end up on the streets 3 ways: 1) orphaned and there are not close family that can help or they cannot afford another child in their family. 2) Some 12 year olds and up think that they can go on the streets and live better without the troubles that they are having with their parents. 3) The parents force their children (aged 4 to 18) to go on the streets to beg for money to supplement the family income.

If the parents ask them to beg and they do not want to, or they do not bring home what is expected, then child abuse begins and drives them out. Our heart breaks every time we go to the internet, do a search for Indonesian street children, and read new stories that are happening all the time.

As we grow and the first orphanage is well on its way with monthly support, we will look for other areas to reach out to the same type of children. I am sorry to say, there is a field ready to harvest in all 3rd world countries by reaching out and providing the 4 needs of children: shelter, food, education and medical care. We also provide the final touch - - clothing.

As street children only have the clothes on their backs when they come to Cikal Hope for Children, they will need clothing.  So they will need your support to help them make this transition. Why not get involved and help a child.
